A History

The Orchid Blossom House was built in 1828, by Bertram and Iris Blossom as they moved to Willow Creek. While it was originally known as the Blossom Family, the later addition of the Greenhouse inspired the addition of the Orchid name. Boasting two bedrooms, a nursery, and an office, the Orchid Blossom House Museum serves as a glimpse of historical Willow Creek. We also maintain a gallery room of the original members of the Orchid Blossom Garden Society.

The Greenhouse, while a later addition to the house, boasts several heirloom varieties of orchids, planted by Iris Blossom herself. Visitors are welcome to wander throughout our carefully maintained green space.
