The staff of the Orchid Blossom House Museum are delighted to introduce ourselves!
Kendra Gillingham (left) and Kiley Chimeway (right) are the two longest running staff members. Both women are heavily involved in running the museum, as well as assisting with the various charitable works that the Orchid Blossom Garden Society is involved in. Kendra Gillingham is the Director of the museum, ensuring that all aspects of the house are running smoothly and prompting new ideas for new exhibits. She also tends to the Greenhouse, frequently giving lectures and advice on gardening. Kiley Chimeway is the head curator of the museum. She is also a descendant of the Chimeway family, who were the founding members of the garden society. Kiley Chimeway tends to the various artifacts within the museum and the archive, often working on different repairs and restorations of the collections.
Emilia Rien (left) and Fletcher Michaels (right) are the two recent hires for the museum that we are delighted to present. Emilia Rien is an archivist and runs the website for the museum. She is the newest member of our staff. Her work in the archives focuses on running technical support as well as research help in the archive. Fletcher Michaels is a docent, and runs the majority of our guided tours. Occasionally he can be found on the grounds painting, and will host an artistic meetup.
